October 2024 AIS Ohana Newsletter
Dear Parents and Community,
September was a whirlwind of activity at AIS, filled with academic pursuits, after school athletics and community engagement. Our students continue to impress us with their dedication, enthusiasm, and talent.
One of the highlights of the month was the vibrant energy surrounding our after-school sports programs. Volleyball teams rallied together, their skills and teamwork shining brightly. Cross country runners pushed their limits, their determination and perseverance evident in every stride. Dancers expressed their creativity and passion through graceful movements and expressive choreography. We are also pleased to announce that we have started an eSports club. These extracurricular activities not only foster physical and mental fitness but also develop important life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline.
In addition to our athletic achievements, our students have been excelling in the classroom. They have been actively participating in engaging science activities, demonstrating curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. Our teachers have also been working diligently to build strong relationships with students, providing guidance, support, and encouragement.
As the first quarter comes to a close, we are proud of the progress our students have made. We look forward to the upcoming fall break from October 7th to the 11th, a well-deserved opportunity for rest and rejuvenation.
Thank you for your continued support of our school. We are excited to share more updates and accomplishments with you in the months to come.
Sincerely,
Michael Jose
